Electrical Safety Audit:
ECPL carries out electrical safety audit as per Indian Electricity Rule, 1956. The outcome of electrical safety audit is a report which highlights present safety status of the organization, areas where proper safety precautions are missing with photograph and proposed course of action.
Thermography is an integral part of electric safety audit wherein temperatures at key points are measured with the help of thermal imaging camera and abnormal areas are identified which otherwise in due course of time would result into breakdown / tripping of electrical systems.
Electricity is indispensible for industrial development, scientific advancement, human comfort and prosperity. Electricity constitutes one of the major sources of ignition for fire accidents and explosions in hazardous installations where classified hazardous atmosphere is normally encountered. Fires due to short circuits, overheating of electrical equipments, overheating due to over current, overheating due to poor ventilation results in to devastating fire besides equipment damage and property loss, electrical hazards also include injuries and fatalities to personnel due to electric shock. Hence Electrical Safety Audit plays an important role in Industrial Electrical Safety.

HAZOP / HAZIN:
Any expansion or modification requires proper review of integration with present system. Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP) study is the process which helps to consider all the possible ways by which process and operation failure can occur. It is carried out in a Chemical facility.
The output is HAZOP report covering all possibilities like no – low – high analysis of temperature, pressure and flow and their subsequent impact on the process. The report highlights various actions to be taken so as to avoid particular failure.
Before starting HAZOP study following detailed information on the process is required:
